Portfolio

Frontend Software Engineer (ReactJS & NextJS) at Perficient

I've been working here since February, 2023. I joined a really big team with around 300 developers to develop and maintain PCC, a website for buying Caterpillar machine parts. Here I was able to learn from many other developers from around the world and work on complex tasks along with WCS mates.

PCC Perficient

Frontend Developer (ReactJS) at Recursiva SRL

I've worked at Recursiva from January, 2021 to February, 2022. I joined a ReactJS team, in order to develop a web app for online payments. I was also part of two React Native teams to build and maintain two fascinating mobile apps for a leading group of companies specialized on plant genetics. At Recursiva SRL, I was able to grow professionally and learn from my teammates and team leaders, strengthen previous knowledge (from university and internship) and incorporating good practices and good habits of the professional software development industry.

Website of Capitán Sarmiento

This project was done in an internship, at the town hall of Capitán Sarmiento. The site was built with HTML, CSS, with using Bootstrap, JavaScript and PHP, in order to bring access to information and services to the people of Capitán Sarmiento, in a single place. As there wasn't a previous website, we had to create an EC2 instance in Amazon Web Services and an Apache Server inside of it.

WordPress portal

Every site instide the "/info/" folder, in the website of Capitan Sarmiento, has an "iframe" with access to websites developed in WordPress. This is because it was required that a person with no knowledge in coding, edited the sites. This means that the job also required us to teach this person how to use WordPress and the Elementor plugin.

"Sugerencias y Reclamos" - Helpdesk

Another project in the internship at the town hall of Capitán Sarmiento. It's a helpdesk based in osTicket, with profund structural and stylish modifications, done in PHP (with SQL querys), HTML, CSS and JavaScript, in order to adapt to the website's style and the town hall's needs. This porject was done with the purpose of creating a closer relationship between people and the government, and fit in the current situation of social isolation, so that people has no need to go physically to the town hall anymore.

The app has two faces. The fist one consist on a place where the user can open tickets with claims or suggestions and see the ones that he/she has already open; the second one is for the agents (those who are responsible to give response to this tickets). Once the ticket is open, a mail is sent to the agents with a link to sign in and answer.
This needed lessons for all 21 agents and also to other town hall workers, who are in touch with many people, so that they can teach them how to use the app "Atención al Vecino".

"Atención al Vecino"

Once all the apps previously mentioned were done, we developed an Android app in Java, in order to make it easier for people to use the softwares we built. This app gives access to the helpdesk "Sugerencias y Reclamos", to a screen that allows you to send a WhatsApp message or make a phone call, for making appointments of different subjects, and to a screen to pay bills.

"Sarmiento Seguro"

I was part of the team of developers that developed this app with React Native. This app is capable of sending different emergency alerts, with the current GPS location and the user's personal information.
Theese information is visualized in an app running at the local police station, built with ReactJS and a backend with NodeJs and MySQL. This app makes a sound every time an alert is sent and displays the information and the location in a map. Then the police activate an emergency protocol. I'm not authorized to show this app running, or images of it.
